Ashley Monroe sharing amazing news today.

after a battle with a rare form of blood cancer last year she released a heartwarming video in december ringing the bellmeaning she was officially done with chemotherapy treatments.

But that wasn’t really the end of his journey. She had another appointment in February to check her blood and labs again to see if all the chemotherapy and treatments she underwent in 2021 worked beyond those few months.

And in the best news you’ll see all day (I got chills the first time I read it), she posted a long caption on Instagram, saying everything was completely normal and healthy again:

“Okay, good news. I had my PET scans and lab tests on February 24th. My 6th rounds of chemo were on December 14-15, so these tests were like “let’s see if it worked”. Well IT’S DONE!

My blood work looked amazing and normal, as did my scans! They say this genre is incurable, but I’m just going to believe it IS curable, and it’s gone forever. It was truly one of the most difficult seasons of my life. I didn’t know it was possible to feel so sick and defeated.

BUT, I believe it was meant to be and I know it made me a better person. Thank you for your prayers, I really felt them. I love you all. Ready to create and share more music! To say I have a lot to say is an understatement.

With everything going on in the world right now, it’s so nice to read something like this and have good news for the day:

She also noted that she’s ready to start making and releasing more music again, which is super exciting to me, because Ashley is one of my favorite artists never.

During all the treatments she underwent, Ashley managed to extinguish her own Blankets PEas well as a Christmas album, A vacation from hell, with her girl group, Pistol Annies. It goes without saying, but she’s a badass, and I’m proud that she represents women in country music.

She wasn’t lying either when she wrote this one:
