Bleach Lab has shared a second single from their upcoming EP Nothing Feels Real. ‘Violet Light’ falls with a dreamlike and colorful video.
‘Violet Light’ is a sweet dream-pop song in the vein of previous versions of Bleach Lab, although this time around the band features more bouncy tunes and independent guitars in a similar school to Pale Waves.
The song is a deceptively optimistic track about bassist Josh Longman’s late father.
âDuring the lockdown, I went to live with my mother, otherwise we would both have been alone. I think the idea of ââwriting a song all about him came to me during that time when I was able to pull out some old family photos, âJosh said.
‘Violet Light’ follows ‘Talk It Out’.
Nothing looks real
1. Real thing
2. Violet light
3. In my mind
4. Talk about it
5. So I know
