Launch of the Redmi Smart Band Pro with GPS on October 28: specifications and expected prices



Xiaomi has scheduled an event in China on October 28, where the brand will launch the Redmi Note 11 series and the Redmi Watch 2. Along with these products, Xiaomi will also present the Redmi Smart Band Pro in China on October 28. The Redmi Smart Band Pro will succeed the Redmi Smart Band which launched in India in September 2020. The next fitness tracker is also expected to launch globally on October 28. Redmi Smart Band Pro will launch in China on October 28

According to the leaked renderings and specifications, the Redmi Smart Band Pro will have a larger screen. The Redmi Smart Band Pro will resemble that of the Mi Band 6 and Honor Band 6. It will also be a direct rival to the Huawei Watch Fit and Samsung Galaxy Fit wearable devices. As for the rest of the specifications of Redmi Smart Band Pro, it will also have GPS support. Other features offered by the fitness tracker include Bluetooth connectivity, various sport modes, and support for heart rate tracking. We can also expect this upcoming fitness tracker to have 5 ATM water resistance, music control function and much more.

As a reminder, the predecessor of the Redmi Smart Band Pro, the Redmi Smart Band comes with a 1.08 inch LCD color touch screen. It offered support for over 50 watch faces and had a 5 ATM waterproof design. The fitness tracker also had five specific sport modes, including brisk walking, exercising, cycling, treadmill, and outdoor running.

Apart from that, it also had support for 24 × 7 heart rate monitoring, sleep monitoring and other such features. The Redmi Smart Band was powered by a 130mAh non-removable battery. It is capable of providing 14 days of battery life on a single full charge. The Redmi Smart Band was priced at Rs 1,599 in India and it was available in green, black, orange and blue.
