Popular New Zealand group LAB returns to rock Bowl of Brooklands

New Zealand chart-topping group LAB will return to the iconic Bowl of Brooklands in early 2022 with massive local programming featuring the country’s top talent.

After sold out at NPDC’s Bowl of Brooklands this year, LAB’s return visit will have them accompanied by Sir Dave Dobbyn, Katchafire, JessB, Summer Thieves and RIIKI.

“It’s great news that we were able to get LAB to rock the stage again at our scenic Bowl of Brooklands at Pukekura Park this summer. The last time they played in New Plymouth it was at box offices. closed with an audience of nearly 12,000, and we look forward to seeing them back in our Sustainable Living Capital, with the legendary Sir Dave Dobbyn and Katchafire support groups, ”said New Plymouth District Mayor , Neil Holdom.

The release of their album LAB IV cemented the group as one of New Zealand’s most popular bands, with the album debuting at No.1 on the official charts, with the single Why Oh Why reaching No.1. in the official Top 40 singles. , their second n ° 1.

So far this year, the group has given sold-out shows in New Plymouth, Auckland, Wellington and Hamilton, with this series being the largest of their careers.

Tickets go on sale Wednesday July 28.

This outdoor event will see LAB bring the full lighting and visual experience the group has become known for, alongside their unrivaled live performance. With an ever-expanding catalog, this show will feature the group performing songs that made them a household name, including In The Air, Controller, and Why Oh Why.
