SG Lewis and MEUTE play surprise sets on the Do LaB stage at Coachella

Do LaB, creators of Lighting In A Bottle and Coachella’s most immersive stage, welcomed some highly anticipated surprise guests yesterday, Saturday, April 16.

The 11-piece techno marching band MEUTE made an appearance as the first surprise, with their expressive marching band music and unique techno style. A dazzling DJ Set followed by English crossover talent SG Lewis, playing three hours of atmospheric disco, house and good vibes to complete the second night of Coachella.

Other surprise guests of the day include famous pop star Rebecca Black, who brought in some friends during her Do LaB DJ Set. This included major guests like the mighty face of bounce music Big Freedia, songwriter and bass prodigy Blu DeTiger, pop singer and songwriter Slayyyter, and more.

These surprise artists joined other previously announced artists over the Saturday weekend, such as classic house and rave duo Prospa, rising star and emerging favorite Dirtybird Nala, versatile twin brother duo Major League DJz, the trendy DJ and producer duo Coco & Breezy, and electronic R&B and soul singer-songwriter Life on Planets.

The exciting and interactive Do LaB experience at Coachella is another example of what the brand has in store for this year, including the return of their first multi-faceted boutique festival Lightning in a Bottle. The five-day experience merges cutting-edge music programming, immersive art installations, and cause-driven yoga and art educational programming at a sprawling lakefront venue in beautiful Lake Buena Vista, California.

Surprise Do LaB performer SG Lewis is part of a list of Lightning in a Bottle’s 2022 music lineup that includes other genre-crossing marquee names such as Glass Animals, Kaytranada, GRiZ, Big Wild, CloZee, Ekali, G Jones b2b Eprom, GoldLink, Black Café, Four Tet, Seth Troxler, Maya Jane Coles, Jon Hopkins, and more.
