TBWAMedia Arts Lab appoints Kenny Blumenschein as Executive Creative Director



Apple’s tailor-made agency TBWA Media Arts Lab has announced the appointment of Kenny Blumenschein as Executive Creative Director for the Asia-Pacific region, based out of the Singapore hub.

Blumenschein will partner with Managing Director Michaela Futcher and report to Global Creative Director Brent Anderson.

Of Thai / German descent, Blumenschein has accumulated experience on several continents including Europe, North America and Asia, bringing a valuable global perspective to his work.

In his new role, he will work with teams spanning the entire Asia-Pacific region, from India to Australia, to develop business creation and culture-defining work for one of the most recognizable global brands in the world.

Blumenschein recently joined Energy BBDO’s Media Arts Lab where he notably worked on award-winning Wrigley’s “For when it’s time” campaign, while SVP, ECD for the agency.

Prior to Energy BBDO, he was a creative strategist for the Greater China region at Facebook. After spending more than six years in Asia, he also held positions at Ogilvy as digital & content ECD, and as creative manager at VMLY & R.

Back in Germany, Blumenschein also spent time at BBDO and Isobar.
