The New Trailer For The “Medieval” Red Band Is Brutal

Medieval tells the story of a Czech national hero who never lost a battle, even after losing both of his eyes in battle.

It’s the the most expensive czech film ever made and it must be given the importance of the man it focuses on. A military commander and a national hero.

Jan Žižka was a Czech general who led the Taborites from the late 1300s to the early 1400s. He played a key role in the Bohemian Civil Wars and he defeated the Holy Roman Empire and the Teutonic Order in battle. The general foresaw inventions like the chariot and excelled at quickly training peasants and farmers to face larger, more armored opponents. Žižka also ended up losing both of his eyes in battle, although he never lost a battle.

It’s a movie about war – and wars are bloody.

They don’t hold back the violence and cruelty that accompanies historic conflicts like this. I can’t comment on its accuracy, but “epic” fits the bill perfectly here. Here’s hoping the music choices are a little more traditional in the current film – that choice doesn’t work.
